|
For general pain, you can follow the listed below exercises for lower back pain, but if the reason is something like herniated disc or rupture, you need the advice and assistance of a physiotherapist to conduct the exercises. The physiotherapy sessions are medically proved exercise postures that relieve the stressed nerves and decompress the vertebra joints. Even if one undergoes surgery, after that too he or she has to continue with the certain exercises forever.
a. Lie on floor with your back and remain in a relaxed position. Slowly raise one of your legs upward and try to keep it as straight as possible. Count up to fifteen, and slowly bring down the leg. Do the same with the other leg. Repeat this exercise five times.
b. Sit on a chair with your legs straight. Catch hold of the arms of the chair and slowly raise one of your legs straight in upward direction till you can bear. Keep in that position for 10 seconds and then move on for the other. Repeat the exercise for three times.
There are other exercises for lower back pain too. Consult your doctor or a fitness trainer for learning different postures. |
