Causes Of Sciatica
Sciatica is a lower back pain that is mostly experienced by people of the age group 30 -50. The pain can range from a tingling feeling to one that makes you feel completely paralyzed. Sciatica is generally a nerve in our body the longest one and pain occurs when there is serious damage to that nerve. The pain generally starts in the lower back and slips down to the knees and the feet. Sometimes the pain is so severe that it can even disturb your sleep.

Now let us  share some knowledge on the symptoms of sciatica pain. If you have difficulty walking or bending your knee, or if you experience pain when you cough or sneeze, you might persist that problem. Also, a general tingling feeling can be sciatica. 

And, now regarding the causes of sciatica, most of the time we do not even know that we ourselves by lifting something bulky or heavy has generated the disease. Let us move towards scientific explanation of the causes of sciatica. Mostly the pain occurs if the sciatica nerve gets stretched due to lifting something heavy. Sometimes a herniated disc can also engender the pain.

In the spinal cord there is a narrow canal called spinal stenosis, but with our growing age the bones  get enlarged and put immense pressure on the sciatic nerve which can be the cause of the sciatic pain.

Spondylolisthesis is also another disease that takes its toll on the sciatic nerve. Some other miscellaneous causes of sciatica are also there. If you wear a high heel shoe you are prone to develop this pain. Again overweight people and those who like to sleep on mattresses that are soft can also develop this pain.

Lastly the happiest thing about this type of pain is that it is definitely curable.
