Our back bears most of
the stress of our body. When it pains it means that it needs to be
checked up. Back pain is often mistaken as sciatica and vice versa.
Back pain sometimes occurs due to bad sleeping posture, lifting heavy
load and other such stressful activities.
Back pain should not be taken normally
and a doctor should be consulted as soon as you can.
You should give all the details to the
doctor so that he suggests you the right treatment. There are many
exercises that help in back pain relief better than the medications
and surgery.
But, if your back
gets hurt then I know what you should do for the back pain relief.
Put some pillows below the knees and then bend your knees and your
hips and place your feet on the chair placed in front of you. You can
also avoid using the chair if you are not comfortable with that. This
position helps relieve your back from the body weight. A rest for 2
to 3 days in this position can relieve you from the pain in the back.
But if the pain increases after using this position then you should
surely go to doctor and consult his advice.
Do not rest in this position for many
days as it will result in the weakening of the muscles which further
results in a slower recovery. While using this position always try to
walk for few minutes.
The use of heating pads is also helpful
for the back pain relief. Use the heating pads for at least 20
minutes. Massage by the ice pack is also helpful for the back pain
relief. If there is any sort of swelling in the back muscles then
some medicines should be taken so that swelling reduces.
