Regular exercises for back pain will help to restore the strength of your back pain muscles. You can return to regular activities through exercise as a back pain treatment. To gain early low back pain relief, your orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist may recommend an exercise schedule of 10 to 30 minutes a day, one to three times a day.

Some people keep in good physical condition by being active in recreational activities like running, walking, bike riding, and swimming. In addition to these conditioning activities, there are specific exercises that are directed toward strengthening and stretching your back, stomach, hip and thigh muscles.

However, before beginning any back pain exercise program, you should consult with a therapist. It is important to exercise regularly for relieving back pain. You have to warm up for lower back pain exercises, by walking. Inhale deeply before each repetition of an exercise and exhale when performing each repetition.
