Are you suffering from back pain? If yes, then yoga can be of great help. It helps you stretch relieving the tension in your back muscles. While all yoga poses are just as good for your body, there are some that work better to relieve your back pain. Here are some of them.

Corpse
This is a simple yoga pose that allows you to relax your back. Simply lie down on the floor with both your arms on the side. Make sure that your palms are touching the ground. Now, turn your knees outward. Breathe in and breathe out to let the tension leave your body. If it hurts to fold you knees outward, you may practice this pose with your knees bent.

Cat stretch
Stand straight with your back straight. Your hands should be directly under your shoulders and knees under the hips. The fingers of your hands should be spread. Now, keep your head loose looking at the floor in between your hands. Take a deep breath and as you exhale stretch your back towards the ceiling. While you stretch your back, make sure that your chin is tucked in so that you are looking at the navel.

Wind releasing pose
Lie flat on the floor. Now bend your right knee while your left knee should still be on the on the floor. Inhale and bring your right kneed towards your chest. Exhale and lift your forehead so that it touches the knee. Hold the position and inhale. Now as you exhale, return to the normal position. Keep on alternating with both the legs.

Sage twist
Sit straight on the floor with both your legs stretched out in front of you. Bend the right knee. Cross the right leg over the left leg so that your right foot is on the floor that is adjacent to the left knee. Once you have positioned your legs, place your left elbow on the right knee. Bend your left arm trying to touch the right hip with your fingertips. As you try to touch your right, twist slightly over your right shoulder. Now make sure that you only twist as much is comfortable. Do not try too hard as this may aggravate the back pain further.

Fish pose
Lie down straight on the floor. Bend both your legs in the knee. Now with the support of your elbows try to lift your back as much as possible. Do not overexert yourself. If you can, try to rest the crown of the head on the floor, while lifting up your back.

Try these simple yoga poses and get rid of back pain naturally.
