The middle of your
back has 12 vertebrae as protective bones for the spine, and are
situated in the thoracic sector of the spine. Discs made of cartilage
are fitted between each joint of these twelve bones. The discs are
elastic in nature and help in movements and also absorb the shocks
the body receives at different acts. Along with the vertebrae for
support, there are tendons and muscles that provide shape and
stability to your back. Mid back pain is the kind of pain that one
feels in this area just below the neck and above the waist or lower
back.
Mid back pain and occupation has a very
close relationship. Thats because you can hear frenzied cries nearby
the houses of most of the working class people. Their pain at times
become so sharp that they yell out in despair and pain.
Why there is a
relation between mid back pain and occupation?
Well, this is because the majority of
the office goers are most lazy fellows and they engage in improper
sitting or working habits. They lack in physical activity due to
which the body becomes fragile and weak. Hence, at some point if they
carry some physical activity, or laborious tasks, they hurt their
muscles or spines in twists or strains. The consequence is that they
are left gasping on a bed and moaning in tremendous back pain mostly
the mid back.
How
mid back pain and medication are related?
Well
medications go well with the back pain, yet they are only supportive
in reducing the pain or swelling. But the best thing that goes well
with the back pain is exercise or physiotherapy sessions. They help
in bringing back the muscles in position and also increasing the
durability of the ligaments and tendons. Hence, if you are suffering
from mid back pain and find it really difficult to move, visit your
nearest physiotherapist for suggestions and combating the pain.
